Why one check is not enough.

AI lets us build faster. It can also be wrong while sounding sure. So we choose the fix first, build it with agents and engineers, and check every release twice.

The steps

  1. Find the gap We learn how the work happens today and where it gets stuck.
  2. Choose the fix Automation, AI agents, data work, software, or a mix.
  3. Build it Agents and engineers build the fix.
  4. Check it twice Software tests the work first, then an engineer reviews it before release.

Find the gap, choose the fix, agents and engineers build it. Software runs the first check, and an engineer runs the second. If either check fails, the work goes back to the build. After both pass, it is released.

Checked Twice covers each release. It does not mean a person checks every job a live system performs.

Who does what

Engineers
Understand the gap, choose the fix, and own the result
AI agents
Draft code and tests, and take on repeated build work
Software
Runs the first check on every release
An engineer
Runs the second check before release

What happens when a check fails

The work goes back. It is released only after both checks pass.

Same method, any gap

Automation, AI agents, data work and software all go through the same two checks.
